Clinical Exercise Science
The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Exercise Science offers advanced, graduate-level courses in exercise science to prepare you for the rigors of careers in fields such as cardiac rehabilitation and exercise physiology. Develop a thorough understanding of exercise prescription for those with chronic cardiovascular, metabolic or neuromuscular condition through theory and lab-based courses.

Admission Requirements
- Graduate application
- Background in basic and applied health sciences
- Minimum overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.0
- Exercise Science Supplemental Application form which includes a goal statement
- Two Recommendation for Graduate Admission forms from academics familiar with the student’s abilities (preferred) or from employment supervisors
- International Applicants - GRE exam
- Suitable work experience in the field of exercise science strongly recommended

Admission Terms and Application Deadlines
Before an applicant’s file can be reviewed for full program admission, all application documents must be received in Graduate Study and Lifelong Learning by the semester deadlines listed below.
- July 15 for fall semester
- November 15 for winter semester
- March 15 for summer semester
- International applicants: May 1 for fall, September 1 for winter, January 1 for summer
