Recreation Leadership Minor
Gain the experience and leadership skills necessary to encourage and manage recreational activities and programming in various settings, such as recreation centers, youth and veteran programs, parks, summer camps, and nursing and residential care facilities. This minor is available for students in any major at Oakland University and serves as a great addition to any program of study. Wellness and Health Promotion Minor
Focus on promoting health and wellness through management, strategic planning, and community engagement through wellness and health promotion. This minor is available to students in any program at Oakland University (e.g. anthropology, integrative studies, health sciences, human resource development, psychology, sociology and more), and several credits can be used to satisfy University General Education requirements. Environmental Health and Safety Minor
Gain a course-based and experiential education in environmental health, occupational safety and industrial hygiene concepts.
