Dr. Hogle has presented papers at numerous international and national music education research and education conferences and has published her work in Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education, International Journal of Education & the Arts, and Research Studies in Music Education. Her most recent publications include an invited book chapter, "Empowering Strategies for Student-Centered Learning in Choir" for The Choral Conductor's Companion and "Fostering singing agency through emotional differentiation in an inclusive singing environment." Her current research interests include constructivist practice in music education (particularly in choral ensemble contexts), the role of singing agency in music education settings, and music teacher agency. She prizes collaborative dialogue with all music educators and learners.
